8 - 10 am :: CE Seminar - Active Shooter/Workplace Violence & Insurance, Paul Marshall, Central Conference Center Room 2 (lower level)
Sponsored By InsurBanc
The rising number of active shooter/deadly weapon attacks are staggering with organizations having a duty of care to maintain a safe environment for staff and visitors. And, in the event of an active shooter attack, the organization could be held liable. There are significant challenges to organizations in securing their place of business while managing a vast throughput of people. These organizations are particularly at risk from a lone attacker who could enter unchallenged. In the situation when an event has occured, many have realized large financial losses and have been successfully sued for negligent security.
This seminar is designed to teach about Active Shooter/Workplace Violence Risk and Insurance Programs in order to help agents and brokers better serve their clients and avoid E&O situations. Active Shooter/Workplace Violence Insurance covers liability and extra expenses tied to shootings, providing victim death benefits with additional medical expense benefits. The program considers all classes of business, including but not limited to: government agencies, education, religious institutions, hospitality, entertainment, retail, and public entities. The program also covers a wide range of attack-types, such as knife and vehicular attacks, rather than solely deadly attacks commited with a firearm.

Frank will teach how to gain and maintain rapport, how to read facial, body and vocal cues, and how to manage a myriad of personalities to be successful in selling. He will deliver tools to help salespeople be well-liked, well thought of, and depended on by clients, enabling them to spike sales and maintain long-term loyalty. Frank will reignite the glowing embers in seasoned salespeople and spark the flame in fledglings.
